A Girl with a Cat, Plants, and Story

I thought I would first do a introduction of me for my first blog post. My name is Elizabeth. I am a single Christian woman who just bought and upgraded a condo recently. I live with my 4 year old, tabby cat named Ollie and many plants. I feel as though my love languages are food. ice cream. coffee. A good juicy burger with fries. I would consider myself a foodie. I am always looking for a new place to try and things to cook/bake. Especially, trying coffee shops. I secretly wish I could work a side job as a barista or even own my own shop. But enough about food.
I live in a small town that I grew up my entire life in. My dad is a farmer so moving was never a option. I have 3 siblings. A older brother that is 21, 16 year old sister, and (this will be a surprise) 4 year old sister. Yep. She was a surprise but a blessing. I feel as though she is like a little niece of mine that I get to spoil once in a while. Pretty much all of my family I'm close with.
I became a Christian at 5 years old. I had seen a animation video on Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and I knew right after that I needed a savior. Even that I was truly a wretched person that needed grace for my sins and that I wanted to follow God the rest of my days. Now my desire is to become more like christ even in this imperfect world. Pursuing a personal relationship with Him in prayer, worship, and reading His word.
Now about what I do for fun and love:
-coffee, plants, and cats (obviously)
-reading
-watch movies
-travel
-decorate
-floral design
-water color
-working out (hike, bike, and run)
-cook/try new recipes
-shopping (even grocery shopping)
most likely more...

I have also tried pursuing a healthy life style and minimalistic point of view. Here is a link to a video that has inspired me to be more minimalist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24IDJfPCHZM&t=56s      When it comes to healthy living this has been important to me for a while now since I have dealt with so many health issues and weight gain. I actually have lost over 30lb. starting back in 2016. This was mainly done with how the way I ate food. I believe with loosing weight, its 80% diet change and 20% working out. I am not perfect at it but I give my self grace in those moments. I defiantly promote a holistic view with helping yourself heal though.
Something that is quite popular right now is the enneagram. I am a 6 (loyalist/anxious one)with a strong wing 7. I believe the enneagram is such a great tool to use. I enjoy learning more about it. The biggest thing in learning about it for me is how to interact with others with different numbers well.
Lastly, I enjoy getting to know others and being real in conversations. Being real is being open and trusting. I know if I am having a conversation with someone and all we do it small talk, the relationship will never grow for me. Deep conversions are important to me because life is hard and we need real people to share it with. I believe this is what we are called to do as a body of Christ. To have good community and fellowship. I hope you feel like we are having a conversations over coffee together in this blog. Me being real with you or even just plain fun convos. Over all, I hope you take something away from this blog and enjoy.
