Weekend Trip to Nashville

I fell in love with the city Nashville the first time I visited last spring. I wanted to go back as soon as I could. There was so much more to experience and explore! I had only gotten a taste of it. I loved how clean of city it was, how nice the people were, and the feel of it. I felt like I was born to live there. So when a couple of my friends talked about going to Nashville during Labor Day weekend, right away I was in. I was the designated driver. I had never drove 7 hours straight before and in a large city but I did it. We left Friday morning and right away settled into our airbnb when we got there. The airbnb was totally my style. I mean look at the photo below. Can I just stay and live here?
We then got dinner at a Mexican restaurant called Rosepepper Cantina which had excellent margaritas. To finish off for the night we went to Jeni's ice cream which was amazing! I got the gooey Butter cake and dairy free Texas sheet cake in a homemade waffle cone. Saturday we ate had at E+Rose Wellness Cafe and got coffee at Frothy Monkey for breakfast.
We then visited the Country Music Hall of Fame which is worth spending the money to see. If you look at the photo to the right of me, you will see a whole wall with golden records.
Then next was lunch at Cafe Rose of which I got a egg BLT with fries. Coffee again after! This time Three Brothers coffee which was most likely my favorite coffee shop we went to that weekend along with Frothy Monkey! It had such a fun, artsy, black and white wall which of course us basic white girls had to stop and take a minute to take photos at.
From there, we picked up a few other friends that happened to be in the city that same weekend. We went to a live free concert outside and saw Scott Mulvahill and Grace Potter.
Sunday morning it was Five Daughter's Bakery and Portland Brew for breakfast. We then attended church in the morning, shopped after, and headed to the farmers market where we each got a plant and some art. Lunch was at Milk and Honey which was hands down our favorite   restaurant we went to.
I got a grilled pita sandwich with carved turkey, brie, spinach, and raspberry jam and side kale salad. We pretty much chilled after that. Went to another coffee shop called Retrograde coffee, walked at a park, and ate at a burger joint for dinner. Lastly, Monday we checked out one last coffee shop called Kettner Coffee Supply, got more deliciousness at Five Daughter's Bakery, and checked out Belle Meade Plantation. Photo below is from Retrograde Coffee
We were all pretty much sad to leave. You are probably thinking right now, "Did all you guys do is just eat?". pretty much, yep haha. If you decide to visit this wonderful city, and after all my experience there so far, I would suggest checking out Frothy Monkey, Headquarters, and Three Brothers Coffee for coffee. Also, for restaurants, Milk and Honey, Taqueria del Sol, Cafe Rose, Haddie B's, Pucketts, and Five Daughter's Bakery.I am already wanting to plan when I come back to this city! I hope that you decide to go visit as well!
